We stayed at the Palms for a night as Hurricane Beryl approached Belize. The property was lovely, but the best part was the wonderful staff- Angelee and Selvin were absolutely amazing! They helped us in a million ways, and always with great friendliness, even in the anxious hours before the storm arrived. Next time we go to Belize City, we'll definitely stay at the Palms!
I had a very pleasant stay in Ambassador Terrace. I will never forget about it. Deborah, the owner of the Bed and Breakfast upgraded me to a very nice room with magnificent sea view. I was taken care of like part of the family. Deborah is a very warm and nice lady. Also, she took care of my 65 birthday. I strongly encourage people to stay at Ambassador Terrace. Cheers
I stayed for my birthday in February and I will say it’s safe, clean, and perfect for solo or plus one traveling! You’re about 10 minutes from the city but the owner has amazing recommendations for drivers, food options, and excursions that she helps with if you ask! If I come back to Belize definitely will be back!
This is place is a bit outside of the city, but totally worth it. It's very clean and relaxing and the breakfast is quite good. No stale donuts or questionable pancake batter here. They were really good about making arranging transport for us and making sure we were comfortable. Also, the staff is super friendly, especially the drivers and front desk staff. Overall, a very great experience!
We had the place to ourselves and the beautiful wildlife right on the river. Shanna and Kenny were wonderful and handled every aspect of our trip. The pool and bbq were fun! I would definitely stay here again. The family of Howler Monkeys with babies were my favorite part. Peaceful, serene, and in the jungle.
This property was very well maintained. The bathroom can use acouple hooks for towels so they can be reused. They have an excellent restaurant with a great view from the rooftop. There is contructiong happening on an adjacent building so that cramped thing a we bit. Noise wss not an issue. The property has a store on the first level which has everything you may need.
We had the best time here. The hosts, Shanna and Kenny were great, super responsive and very helpful with planning things to do. Ernesto, one of the drivers was also fantastic and super helpful. The locals and neighbors around the house were very friendly. A grocery store was located near by and we were able to get most of what we needed to make our meals. Absolutely enjoyed our stay here! The lodge was very clean, comfortable, and conveniently located close to the airport. The room was spotless, and the appliances and amenities were really nice and well kept.
Godfrey and his stepson were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond during our stay. They were very welcoming, and Godfrey even gave me a ride back to the airport, which I really appreciated!

The host accommodated me even though my flight in was after the listed check in time on the site. He also arranged for my transportation to the property. The condo was very clean, quiet, and had everything I needed. The bed was comfortable and you could even smell the cleanliness of the unit and the sheets. Being a female solo traveler, I felt very safe and secure.
I arrived early in the day, and Colin was very responsive and understanding of my situation allowing me to have a room immediately. The room was comfortable and clean. Later in the day, Colin came by to check if I needed anything. Since the nearby restaurants were closed, he personally made the drive to pick up food and deliver it to us. The next day, he even gave us a ride to the airport. His personalized attention meant a lot to me. Thank you to Colin and to the Bomboleo Inn!

An upscale hotel with an excellent restaurant and a nice spa. My massage was nice but not what I would consider truly professional, just felt a bit relaxing. The interior is done very nicely, both in the lobby and the restaurant. Service at the restaurant is slow. I gave this hotel 4 stars because cleaning staff forgot their washing rags inside my room when I checked in. It wasn’t a deal breaker but took a little away from the overall upscale experience.
We loved our stay here. It was a last minute find & wished we could have stayed a few more days longer. Great location near airport for immediate paradise upon arriving into Belize or last days of paradise. Fantastic rooms, quiet, clean & very relaxing, private feeling with beach views & nature away from hustle & bustle. The infinity pool was a bonus too. Go here! We took our 17 and 12 y/o and no one wanted to leave. The staff is the friendliest and most anticipatory you will come across. They have your table setup each day, if they hear you mention wanting to try something they will make it happen (they literally went into the jungle and picked bread fruit for us), and they had items ready for every activity we had mentioned possibly wanting to do. They gave jungle, water activities, and excursions and they are all the cheapest we have...
The property is well managed and is in a central location next to the cruise ship docks and the Belize sign. The adjoining yoga, health and café center next door were very nice. Didn't have time for a class, but wish I did:)
