This was my first hotel in Zanzibar and I would return in heartbeat to stay longer. The aesthetic was relaxing, the owners were present and enjoyable to visit with. The food was DELICIOUS!! It was quiet, peaceful, and comfortable.

From check in to check out this place was wonderful ! Each staff member came up to introduce themselves to us as we roamed this beautiful property and really made sure we felt at home! We had the family style villa which was just the best and every day the cleaning staff came to not only clean everything for us but even had a turn down service at night where they sprayed for any bugs and put down our bug nets etc . The Sevi Hotel was the perfect place to go after 9 days on safari. The beautiful gardens, the pools, the big rooms and comfy beds, the hammock on our deck, made it such a relaxing time. We had 2 fabulous spa treatments and the food is amazing and healthy. The beach scene is non stop entertainment with the locals coming and going. But the best part was the attentive staff. Very, very nice! I've seen a fair share of high-end resorts and I can attest with confidence that Zuri truly is awesome! We stayed in a bungalow - it is very comfortable, clean, spacious, the terrace is lovely - facing the ocean and situated on a hillside so you catch the ocean breeze. The outside shower is amazing - you can see an attention to detail at every step. The resort has an abundance of tropical vegetation - a veritable garden of Eden! The food is pretty good but can get a bit boring...
At first I would like to thank a lot to manager Lukas, who was very helpful and let us have a very late checkout for no extra fee (due to low season). Hotel is small but so cute, super friendly stuff, clean and nice furnished rooms. There is no air conditioner only the fan, but honestly it is absolutely fine and sufficient. the beach is amazing in both cases - during high tide or low tide. What about the restaurant - I don't think I had better meals anywhere else on island. Really amazing...
