Nice tidy hotel near the airport. Very convenient for a stopover before that early flight.

It was not made clear what in the Kitchenette was included and what was a charge. Did not make coffee or tea because of this. The sky bus to the airport stopped right outside the front door. This was very convenient. The view was great. Sky tower was changed to green for St Patrick’s Day weekend. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I love that the location was central to everything I needed. The hotel staff were extremely friendly. Everything was clean. The neighborhood was safe and local transportation was easily accessible.

Excellent hotel in kind of an Art Deco style in a nice area of Auckland. Not a far walk from the wharf and ferry building. It has a bar on premise with a free drink on arrival. The included continental breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit, toasted muesli, Greek yogurt, bread basket and fresh OJ and coffee. Delightful. Wonderful stay, in room laundry, great location!

Very happy with our stay here. Great location on the Viaduct Harbour. Very luxurious facilities, on the level of Grand Hyatt or JW Mariott. They have nice spa facilities and gym that are accessible to all guests. Their spa services were wonderful as well.

Clean room spacious too

We spent 2 nights in Auckland and found this location to be just perfect. We were away from a lot of the downtown “feel”, while within walking distance of the wharf and a major grocery store as well as some nice eateries. We were able to check out an hour later than scheduled due to travel plans without any added expense. Our stay at SkyCity Hotel was phenomenal! We arrived hours before our check-in, but luckily there was a room that was readily available that they were able to give us. We were able to leave our luggage with the concierge while we went to a breakfast spot across the street that they had recommended. Great location for shopping and food options. We didn’t rent a car, but a lot of places were within walking distance. Absolutely loved our stay here and would definitely stay again!

Excellent location. Staff extremely helpful, courteous, and went out of their way to help us find public transport suitable to our needs. The room was spacious and quite. There is a lot of construction around the hotel, which complicates traffic. Tons of restaurants within wañking distance. Would stay again.

Selected "The Emerald Inn" via internet and it was everything and more than we expected. We spent a week there and it was just what we wanted and needed. The room was very clean and had more than what we expected - range, dishes, etc. It was within easy walking distance of a gorgeous beach, a fantastic restaurant - The Cafe and Bakery. We chose not to rent a car and where able to explore Auckland via bus and ferry as well as other sites. Transportation system makes it easy to get around. ...

Great location - only one block from harbor and walking distance to most of the major sites. Our room was huge with a living room, small kitchen, separate bedroom and laundry room. Bonus was a large balcony with a view of the harbor. Would definitely stay here again.
