We were looking for a smaller hotel with a traditional Schwarzwald flair in a beautiful location, and this fit the bill perfectly! This is an old house, but entirely up to modern standards inside, with a friendly staff and warm feel. The room was cozy, looking out on the quiet main plaza with its church. It was magical, whimsical and wonderful every step of the way. We couldn't complain about a thing! The staff was so kind and friendly and fun. The sad thing was that we had to leave . You must stay there if your in the Black Forest:)

We had a delicious dinner at the restaurant. The breakfast included a variety of breads, cold cuts, cheeses, marmalade, yogurts and fruit, boiled egg, juices and Coffee. Chose this hotel for the hiking in the area during a road trip. The staff is amazing, food was great for dinner, and extra things like the sauna are a great touch.
