Room was very nice. Our only problem was the AC didn’t cool very well but it was still a great place to stay. Very convenient. Great restaurant. And beautiful views of the Rhein River. Would highly recommend it.
I just can't say enough good things about the staff at this hotel. We got there late and tired and the front desk guy was absolutely one of the best I've ever dealt with. Just fantastic. I speak ZERO German, and they were as friendly as they could be to me. GREAT JOB Steigenberger!
I attend the UN Climate meetings in Bonn each year, and have stayed in Bonn and in small towns on both sides of the Rhein, to the south of the city. All places except one have been satisfactory, but this one stands out as special. The aesthetics are simple but pleasing. My room was spacious, especially the bathroom, though this is a renovation project and all rooms may not all be cut to the same size and shape. Everything worked. I slept very well for the night. We were on the top floor, and I was able to have the window open for fresh air, it was nice. It’s a basic room with a tiny shower, but it worked! The owner was gracious, for we were there for a very short stay and didnt get to enjoy her beautiful dining room and breakfast, it looked marvelous!

Loved our stay at Insel! The staff was so friendly and helpful. Our room was very comfortable and clean. The location is very central to lots of food, shopping and activities. The breakfast in the morning was excellent! We would definitely stay here again!
The room hasn’t been renovated yet and unfortunately was lacking amenities (no phone, small TV, dusty), however, the hotel is a little gem and the Breakfast was too die for, super delicious we’ve spent hours every morning lol. They worked with us changing departure date. Cute ambiance!
