We booked a room for 1 night as our son's wedding reception was held at the hotel. When we arrived, we were met by very attentive wait staff. We enjoyed a wonderful light lunch with the wedding party, then checked into the room. What a wonderful, quaint, beautiful, comfortable room! The hotel was very quiet. First off this hotel was great. We had stayed 4 nights and enjoyed it very much. The hotel staff were so friendly, nice, and welcoming. They all spoke English which made it very easy to ask questions or order food.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner was all delicious and the scenery around the hotel is so peaceful and relaxing.
The rooms were clean, beds comfy, house keeping was great, and overall the property is very well kept.

It's unusual to have a hotel fit your exact needs. It's not fancy, just friendly and efficient. Convenient location. The front desk is not manned evenings, but that wasn't a major problem. If you don't need a full-service hotel, try this one.
Great place to stay! There weren't really any amenities to speak of, so that's why that's low. But it was clean and great. We LOVED Trier! We would go again!
As if being in a castle isn’t awesome enough, the staff is so friendly, accommodating and helpful. The grounds and rooms were exceptional. Gorgeous. The restaurant for dinner had amazing food and service. I honestly can’t say enough about this property. What a wonderful property- beautiful, clean and good location. Christiana was lovely and welcoming. Our room was large, especially by European standards, with a gorgeous bathroom - very luxurious.
The breakfast was beautifully displayed, included many special foods we’ve not encountered at other hotels and was delicious.

Super value and a quiet, peaceful place to stay. No frills but just what we needed. Coffee was available (for a price) from an automatic machine which was super helpful because we had to leave the next morning before breakfast was served.
