The most amazing host and experiences in Fivvazano! So relaxing, and our host helped us so much to make sure we were happy and comfortable. What a fantastic discovery!!!
If you do not speak Italian, it is useful to know how to speak some Italian. The people are very kind and lovely, but it’s helpful to know Italian language. The setting is beautiful and food is delicious at the restaurant. The accommodations are clean, nice. I would return to the place and stay again. It is peaceful and relaxing.
I've stayed in hotels around the world and can say with all honesty, there is no place like this.
The attention to detail and originality are 2nd to none.
This was a simple hotel - bed & breakfast. The staff was friendly and helpful. Everything worked as it should. The sunny terrace in front was great! We also really liked the ample breakfast. The only thing that was a little difficult was finding this hotel with our balky or dysfunctional GPS. Even our local friend had some difficulty locating the street.
We booked this room based on the reviews and ratings this B&B received on Expedia. We were not disappointed with our choice. A beautiful location nestled in the hills above La Spezia. It is both a nature retreat and a great strategic location for visiting the Cinque Terre area in Italy. Its quaint but extremely satisfying as it provides a respite from the crowds and noise of the Cinque Terre tourist attraction. Located above La Spezia you have easy access via bus to train station. Staff were very nice and friendly. This has been a family business of theirs for a long time, and they know their job very well :)
Breakfast was really good.
I recommend try their dinner too. Good variety and so delicious.
The pool was so clean with an amazing view.
Room was clean and cozy.
The town was also cute with scenic view everywhere.
I wish we’d spent more nights there.
(We traveled 9 days in Italy during what locals called the "off season" from March 6th to March 17th, 2015). We traveled from the U.S.
88 Miglia was spectacular. The best view in all of La Spezia. The hike to the hotel took us through a nice neighborhood with cool views.
The owners were so nice and welcomed us well. We took the local train to Manarola and Riomaggiore in the Cinque Terre area (very close to La Spezia).
We would visit 88 Miglia again!
