Very good 3 hotel. Nice, safe ,quiet and modern area. There’s a big restaurant across the street. A gym 7 minutes away. Laundry, supermarket and gas station 2-5 minutes away. The breakfast was ok . Very clean and comfortable room. Very friendly staff. We loved it!

An absolute gem of a property a tiny bit off the Camino and worth every step! Out hosts were unbelievably gracious and helpful. The rooms were spotless and cozy and comfortable. We met a couple of other pilgrims and became fast friends over afternoon glasses of beer and wine from the “honor kitchen” while sitting outside on the courtyard patio in a tiny, quiet hamlet. The pool was a lovely little place where we soaked our weary feet, listening to the birds. A very intimate property, peaceful...

Staff was amazing. They even booked a taxi for me the next morning so I could catch my bus back after the Camino. Dinner recommendations were flawless and thoughtful ... I plan to recommend this place to all my friends. If you're on the Camino, it's close enough so you can stop here on the way to Santiago, or use it as a base for the night after.

We had just finished a cruise on the Duoro River and this was just a great place to relax before heading home. Nice bistro and excellent dining room.

Un hotel precioso, nuevo, extremadamente limpio y con muuuuuucho comfort. El staff muy atento y cortés, el desayuno muy bueno el bufett son 15 por persona o a la carta, tiene estacionamiento...hubiera querido quedarme mas días pq está estupendo.

Great place. quiet and next to everything. less than 2 miles to compostela de santiago cathedral. close to bus terminal where you can take to have a short trip to porto, portugal.

This was such a beautiful hotel with a marvelous view. The saltwater pool was so refreshing and the beds extremely comfortable. We were given a room with two double beds for three adults without a cot but still had enough space. The shower was so refreshing, I only regret that I didn’t get to take a bath in the deep jet tub.

Hotel has a great breakfast so you dont have to venture out early in the morning. Dinner on the other hand its not very good and you are probably better off eating at a local restaurant. The place is very well kept and clean. The room are nothing fancy but good. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is far enough from the city so you dont deal with the huge crowds but a taxi will be around 10 euros to get there. I would certainly stay there again next time.

On our 20 night Camino de Santiago journey there has not been a better hotel than Torre do Rio. Every small detail is amazing from the decor to the comfort to the food to the grounds… we are so glad we did a two night stay here and made it one of our rest days! We are already dreaming of coming back. I have thought long and hard about anything that I would suggest be improved and the only item I could mention here is the WiFi - it was slow at times and a bit unreliable. Other than that, this...
