Amazing find. Booked last minute, we may have been the only guests off season mid week. Clean modern room with nice towel warmer and excellent hot shower. Like many other properties in Cz- stairs so be prepared:). Room was separate from restaurant and breakfast room, a pleasant 5 min walk across the gorgeous property. Hot tub was available at additional charge of about $50 , we enjoyed dinner there instead. Great find!

Imagine the beauty and peace of the country on an estate in the middle of farm land. This is a perfect spot if you want to stay on site to enjoy nature, a great spa (sauna's, huge hot tub and showers). The outdoor pool is in the process of being built. Great outdoor patios and picnic spot next to tennis courts/basketball court. Only downside is it's difficult to get transportation to the site to hire a car for checking out villages near by. The village we were in was maybe a 3 -4 block...

The small hotel is at the northern end of the medieval square of Bechyne on the opposite side from the chateau. Bechyne is a medieval town on the ridge above a deep river valley, almost ideally in the center of southern Bohemia that has many charms and lots of history. The room itself was fine...modest. The cuisine and the meals in the hotel's restaurant were superb. The quality was that of a fine gourmet restaurant, but with popular prices.
