The property was beautiful, well maintained and exceptionally clean. There were magnificent lake views everywhere you looked. The food was excellent and the staff was wonderful.
Continental breakfast was very good. Parking was a problem but Anna gave us a great upgrade for our challenges. It's in a great area, two minutes walking from the Embarcadero that has the ferries to Isola Bella and Isola Bella. Grand classical hotel. Great staff, nice bar, outdoor restaurant, etc
We loved the view, privacy, helpfulness of the staff when we had rental car issues and relaxing atmosphere at the Hotel Collinetta. The room was lovely and the air conditioning very much appreciated as it was quite warm for our stay. We ate at the restaurant several times during our 4 night stay and loved every meal. The breakfast was wonderful also. Collinetta was the highlight of our 2 week trip to Switzerland. We would definitely stay again.

This was a fantastic hotel! Very new so everything clean and up to date. Design and lighting very nice. Bed super comfortable. Room had everything you need (fridge, kettle, good-sized towels). Appreciated having a proper hair dryer and conditioner in the bathroom. Two buses go right from the Locarno station to the hotel and since the hotel offers you a Ticino ticket, I traveled all over the area without having to pay any extra fees in transportation. We were graded when we arrived and all the amenities were explained the hostess walked us to us our room and showed us all the features of the room. The room was clean pretty and the air conditioner worked great. Breakfast was marvelous, and staff was very responsive.
Location was right by the train station, which was great as well as by the lake even better.
Communication with the hotel even before arrival was good and clear. At the property they were pleasent and clear abkut everything. The room had a great view, was clean, spacious enough for our luggage and nicely designed. Great central location.
To start , some of us can't leave without Ac , this property not only has one but one that works , ( those of you who travel through the old world understand). Service is exceptional, and property is not a resort size but big enough. Great for families and couples as well, available bikes for all ages, pool ( small but warm) gym, indoor pool, on site dining option , and again service excellent.

Very nice hotel on the Lago Maggiore in Verbania! Staff was super kind to find the right room for my mother that is 82 and has mobility issues ! The area is very nice calm with many restaurants and cafe around .

Hotel Belvedere has a one of a kind island setting within Lake Maggiore. Our balcony view was terrific and so spacious. Windows all around made the room very cheerful. The experience alone makes this place unforgettable. We easily caught a boat from Stresa and were able to park our car right at the Stresa boat dock, so logistics were simple. We had the most wonderful stay. The Hotel is exceptional with fine interior design and art along with all the luxurious amenities. We stayed in a room with the most beautiful view of the lake. I highly recommend getting a room with a view. Our Breakfast and dinners were delicious, our room was spotless and pristine, the spa was super relaxing and the staff were Top Notch.
