Cathy’s Cottages was so nice. Yes, it is a bit older and rustic, but that is what you want when you come to Big Bear Lake. Everything was clean in the cottage and it was very peaceful. We loved the memory foam mattress, the fireplace on a timer and the jetted tub. It was a perfect weekend getaway. Also you can park your car right out in the space in front of your unit. We had an amazing few days in Big Bear and this A-Frame cabin was perfect for our stay! It was located very centrally and we were able to get around very easily. It was quiet in the neighborhood in the pine ne trees. Parking was easy right in front, the cabin was well stocked and we had everything we needed! The communication was great, check-in was easy! We would definitely stay here again the next time we return to Big Bear to visit the Eagles!!

It was very clean! Full fridge, heating/AC was very easy to navigate. They provided soap and a sample of shampoo and conditioner. I wouldn’t say these were negatives just more annoyances that’s why I still give them 5 stars - the handle for the shower kept slipping off so it was hard to maneuver the hot and cold and turning on and off, the shower liner was rusted and stained and the shower head was built up with timescale so the water pressure was low. The TV remote in bedroom didn’t work, so...

Absolutely adorable cabin! We had a wonderful stay! Very clean, comfortable beds and the fireplace made the living area so cozy! There is free pressed coffee but if you take your coffee with sugar or cream we suggest you bring some as they only provide the coffee. There is a fridge, freezer and microwave. And bikes are available to use. The cabins are within walking distance to the Village. Wish we had more time to stay longer!
