"Our home was flooded a week before our trip to Maine. We were contemplating whether to cancel or not. We are glad we didn't as we needed the getaway. To start off, the location was fantastic. It is a 5 minute drive to downtown and Perkin"s Cove. But there are a few restaurants within a 2 minute walk. There is ample parking. The rooms are unlike other motels which are close to the road. The rooms here are set back away from any noise or traffic. The room was clean and extremely spacious. The shower had great pressure, The queen sized bed was comfortable and gave us a great night's sleep. The beach is a 10 minute walk. There are barbecue grills on the property for use. I honestly read the reviews beforehand and saw the negative ones. I can't justify any of them. The owners, Andrew and his wife Maria were really friendly hosts. We would definitely go back."

"Trust the reviews! I chose to stay here for the very strong guest rating and it did not disappoint. The bed was very comfortable, the room was immaculately clean, the shower had great water pressure, and the location was perfect. The staff was very friendly, with a free glass of champagne as a nice little gift. While I did not get to use the amenities, the pool and hot tub looked nice"
