"Staff was helpful and pleasant. Room was clean and accommodating. Unfortunately there was a large group of construction workers who ate all of breakfast before other guests got there. Took awhile for server to catch up"

"We had a family vacation and had 5 rooms. They were all very clean, nice rooms. The views are wonderful from the balconies. We had a corner room on the 6th floor, and we will absolutely be asking for that room again. The lady who cleaned our room was fantastic. We had several children with us, and they tracked some sand in from the beach. She was very kind and cheerful, and cleaned everything up super well. I fully recommend this hotel to anyone traveling or staying in the area."

"On the riverwalk across from the battleship New Jersey for nice sunsets. Very close to where the walking tours start downtown. Air conditioning worked so well. Lots of excellent shops nearby like The Black Cat. Great restaurants of all types in walking distance. Ice cream shops open late and lots of restaurants and bars open even later. Downtown is quite walkable. Parking available for an additional fee. The parking was close to an entrance neat the pool."

"We had no idea what to expect on this trip never having visited Carolina Beach previously. The whole trip was great! The Oceaneer was very nicely remodeled and modernized but had a chic style that wasn’t just another hotel chain property type vibe. The location on the beachfront was excellent and our room was nicely appointed. About the only negatives werr the fact that we didn’t have a microwave in the room and the gym air conditioner was not working and so it was super hot and stuffy in the room. I have to say though that the staff did allow us to leave the door open to let some air circulate in and the equipment itself was too notch for a hotel gym and all functioning appropriately. We will stay again in the future."
