Elsa and Chad are the best! :) They are the new managers of Highland Lodge, and they could not be more delightful! Caspian Lake is terrific (mere steps away), and the lodge provides all manner of kayaks, canoes, paddleboards and more. There is tennis and walking trails and every activity you and your family could want!

This place is fabulous! The owners are so friendly and accomodating! The place itself is beautiful and so warm and cozy! Our room was very nice and very clean and the bed was fantastic! Breakfast the next morning was so good! The morning we were there, they offered different things to choose from from fresh fruit or a choice of different types of flavored or plain pancakes and the best bacon ever!! Wished we could have stayed all week!!
The hotel facility was amazing. Expedia is a total rubbish. I was told by the Expedia woman that I was buying a room at the Indoor water park and the passes for my family and everything was all set in a package deal. When we arrived not only was the room she booked us NOT AT THE WATER PARK but the tickets were NOT included! I was told by hotel staff that Expedia cannot give package deals- room only.
