I am so glad that I chose this hotel for my trip to Arlington/Washington. I went to see the city and visit my friend who lives nearby.. It was clean, comfortable and breakfast is included each morning. There is a gas station with a mini mart across the street if you get a snack craving. It's fairly close to a metro station to get into DC quickly. Highly recommend.

We would stay there again if we were in the area. It is a no frills accommodation that is well kept and extremely clean. It is priced considerably lower than most hotels in the area. Breakfast is not impressive, but available. We slept well.

Location was perfect for our trip to the Smithsonian since the metro was just a short walk away. Evenings back at the hotel were nice, lots of restaurant options for everyone as well as great shopping too. The breakfast each morning was wonderful, all fresh and delicious, and the kitchen staff was very cheerful and attentive.

This hotel was great. It was perfect for our family of five. Very clean and well-kept rooms. Great staff who were extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast was great too- good variety of food and well stocked. Very close to a Metro station though it would be a little bit of a walk, but there is cheaper day parking (around $8) at the station.

I loved staying at the Tabard Inn because of its charm, the cozy sitting space, the musicians on Sunday evening, the excellent restaurant. It was lovely for me, but I see that for those with mobility issues, it isn't ideal. The location is also a big plus for me!

The king size room was well cleaned and the fitness center and pool were an added bonus. My stay was quite pleasant!!

I almost never leave reviews but my experience here was so good, I want to share it. First thing, yes the rooms are small but the dimensions are listed so there should be no surprise. But also, the room was CLEAN- like immaculately clean and that’s important for me. The week before I’d stayed at a major hotel chain in a large US tourist city for a lot more $ than Motto, and the room was dirty w chipped worn furniture. Even the Motto gym was pristine - and spacious. I was In DC for museums, both...

Just about 2 blocks from the White House. Right next to the metro and plenty of parking garages. Food within walking distance anyway you head.
