This room far exceeded my expectations for the price. It seems to be recently remodeled. Everything was updated and very clean. There was no slightly musty smell you often get with hotels of this style and age. The people at the front desk were very friendly. I would definitely stay here again

The room was well appointed and very clean when my wife and I arrived. Lucy, who worked in the breakfast room was so friendly and helpful. I booked this hotel twice on our trip to Wisconsin; one night on the way up and one night on the way back. The person working the front desk was courteous and helpful both stays also.

We always stay at the Country Inn and Suites when we visit Grinnell. The rooms are clean. The beds are very comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. Convenient location. My only complaint is that it is noisy. The ac/heating unit can be incredibly loud and grating in some rooms. Rooms themselves are not very sound proof so if you have loud neighbors you are out of luck. Overall, we have found this hotel to be very comfortable and a good value.

Clean, cozy comfort at an extremely reasonable rate. Owner\managers where wonderfully helpful in helping us choose things to do and see while in Pella for a 'girls get away', gave us helpful directions and an idea of what to expect, recommended restaurants, winery, bakery & shops in the area! Our arrival was greeted with warm, melt in your mouth cookies- served in the lobby every afternoon during our four day stay! Although we didnt need the pool, a number of other guests enjoyed. The place was wonderfully decorated with many traditional elements. It's a short walking distance from the center of town. The owner was very helpful and gave us some nice tips on what to go see.

They had cookies and coffee in the lobby and the staff was very friendly. The room was very nice, clean, and comfortable. In the morning we had a great breakfast.

We have been staying for three weeks for a job in the area. After a long days work, it's nice to have no issues when you go back to the motel. Everything is just as it should be.

I stayed in a really nice and expensive hotel the night before going to Grinnell so when I walked I was expecting more, but then I realized that I had no use for any of the other hotels extras (dish washer, full kitchen and 3 rooms). This hotel has everything that you might use or need. Even allowed grand kids in the pool! Great staff, excellent breakfast, and great room. forget anything like toothpastr? just ask, the staf will supply your needs. Recommend for short (week long) stays.
