Hotels in Palo

The hotel is located inside an old woolen mill factory. It has been recently restored and renovated to create overnight and venue services. The rooms are large and airy with stylish decor and there are inviting public spaces throughout. The furnishing are upscale and serval tools and machines from the original factory are included in artistic touches throughout. The restaurant offered delicious meals at a reasonable rate. The location is within easy walking distance from shops and restaurants....

The breakfast is very generic and the same items everyday. Needs more variety.

We had a handicap room. Everything was good, except for the water went out of the shower and was very slippery, had to use extra towels to keep from falling.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff were so nice and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel was very quiet and calm. The breakfast was really good with a lot of variety available. Not in the most convenient location as far as restaurants and stuff, but it's obviously a growing area and that will probably change fairly quickly.

The room was spacious and clean. Nice and quite and close to the freeway. Comfortable bed.

Overall, our stay was wonderful. We stayed one night here. We are a family of 6 (2 adults, 3 teens, one younger child). The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. My only complaint, is that the pictures made the sofa bed look like a double bed. It was only a twin size, which made our sleeping arrangements not as comfortable as I thought they would be.

Entire facility, and most importantly, our room, was very clean. Beds were comfortable, and rooms were quiet. Checkin was very easy, staff was friendly, and gave us restaurant recommendations. Breakfast was also very good, with lots of options. First time at a Fairfield hotel. Will definitley be staying at a Fairfield again, and will stay at this site, also, when we travel through Cedar Rapids again.

Really nice hotel that is run in conjunction with the local college hospitality program. During school year, students work at the hotel in various capacities. Bartender in the lobby was super nice. There is a free tasting of local wines in the lobby in the evenings. Rooms are very nice. Out of the city location, but there is a shuttle to downtown available.

Nice facility, quick elevators, easy location. Perhaps most impressive was the staff: they were consistently friendly and helpful. To a person, staff members displayed positive attitudes. Someone is doing some excellent management.

Our stay was great. The staff forgot to check me in and I had to go back into the hotel to get checked in. The room was great.
