I recommend getting a room in the main building if possible. I was in a side building with no elevator, and with some physical issues I had, it was difficult to carry my bags. The restaurant was excellent, and known for its grilled beef dishes. The hotel is conveniently located for bicycling along and into the nearby hills. It's also conveniently located for hiking. There is a small pool, but with an air jet that is powerful enough to use for lap swimming (without a lap). There are also...
Staff at the front desk was a little blunt. I gave my address and she told me that it wasn't correct. It indeed was. Just assumed alot about us a foreigners. Rooms were super clean but plain. Breakfast was nice.
We love Ketschauer Hof. A beautiful hotel in one of Germany's premier wine regions. Always an easy 3 days! The attention to detail at Ketschauer Hof is exemplary.
We loved our night here! The hotel was really clean and in a fun location. Our room was in the basement but had a nice walk out patio. The town was beautiful and very quiet. We also enjoyed the breakfast and the fantastic selection of food.
It was a nicely maintained property with up to date facilities. I did not like the set up of the room. The headboard was near a slanted roof. I was afraid I was going to get up in the middle of the night and bump my head so I slept with my head at the foot of the bed.

Great stay! Beautiful hotel, lots of different buildings with different decor. Storks nesting on the brick tall chimney, such a nice treat. Food was great, staff super nice and helpful. They spoke English which was great because I took Spanish in school not German, so thank you!
