Reception was very friendly and helpful. Parking was easy. There are a number of steps up to the hotel from parking but there is an entrance on the side where someone could be dropped off/picked up if they couldn't manage the steps. The room was very clean and my bed was very cozy and comfortable. I walked to the park with the monkeys which was very close, then downtown and then to the gorge along the zigzag trail and back which made for a long walk but was doable!

The hotel is a beautiful old building that has been very well set up. The room was clean, spacious & well appointed, with great snacks and beverages provided. The bed was very comfortable and despite being on the road side it was quiet. I arrived after dark and would suggest that some more lights on the signage for the access path from the back car park to reception would be helpful, as well as mentioning to guests that there are steps involved in that access.
