"We had the best time at the Doowall this week. It’s quiet and serene at the hotel and it’s only a short distance from the White Temple. Coming back in at night and seeing the temple sparkle in the dark is a truly magical moment, especially when in a Tuk Tuk. "Absolutely amazing property and a perfect size for 3 of us (it does fit more). The owner is really lovely and very helpful. Nice relaxing area, brilliant views and sounds of the wildlife. The area would be better with a car but its accessible by grab too which is how we managed it as a family of three :D A microwave in the room would be a really good addition. We were very happy with our stay. We will be back next year. Thank you xx"

"Lovely quiet spot by rice paddies, about a 30 minute drive from Chiang Rai. Staff are very attentive and made sure to ask us if we needed a taxi to get into town. Breakfast is delicious and dinner is made for you at 1700 if you have no plans to eat in town. This resort made for a very unique experience in our travels to Thailand. "

"I highly recommend this place for Chiang Rai stay. The staff were all friendly, and the atmosphere was quiet and relaxing, perfectly suited to the Chiang Rai atmosphere. Although the hotel was located in an alley, we were able to order a ride via Grab and have food delivered. I'd love to visit this place again next time I'm in Chiang Rai."

"Aging Hotel but nice staffs"

"The hotel is new & the room was very clean. I appreciate being able to collect drinking water from a dispenser at the reception area as I avoid single-use plastic. Soundproofing is not good. The hotel is in a quiet part of Chiang Rai which was what we wanted. Pretty easy to get a Grab car to other parts of town "

"Basic motel style but no twin rooms, the price at the place was 600baht for a single and 1200 for a double so we asked to change to 2 singles, which caused mayhem and we kept being put on the phone to someone who spoke English but still said we’d have to pay extra, eventually the lady took us to a suitable room but no top sheets and the bedcover was filthy. The shower was great though and bathroom clean, no bedside lights."

"Staff were exceptional and went the extra mile! Good size clean rooms with a nice outdoor balcony overlooking the pool. Location was quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of the main centre but still only a couple of Kilometres walk into the clock tower. Lots of local restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance also a 7/11 and Lotus fresh all within 1km. Would definitely recommend and we will be back! "

"Really good location right next to the mall and really close to the night market, plus there is a free shuttle/Tuktuk to the market. Not to far to travel to the temples. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Bed was really big and comfy only down thing would be shower area could have been a little bit cleaner but honestly not world ending. Would recommend."

"We had a comfortable stay at the Mira hotel. The room was nice and clean, bed was comfortable, good airconditioning, nice and helpful staff. Despite it being quite close to the road it was quiet and well situated. Plenty of retaurants and cafés close by and a 7-eleven ~7 minutes walk away. "
