The food in the Japanese restaurant was excellent and the lunch bento box meal is brisbanes best kept secret. $25 for a bento box with protein, miso soup and a beer. Insane quality and value. "This is a lovely old hotel right in the heart of the city. The room was beautiful and spacious with a mini kitchen and even a washer and dryer. There is a lovely cafe on street level that is very popular. The Queen Street Mall, the pedestrian-only main shopping and entertainment district, is right outside the hotel. The Brisbane Botanical Gardens are two blocks away. The Brisbane River is two blocks away."
