I arrived after hours and the key retrieval was easy. During the stay the room was cleaned very well and the staff was always friendly and accomdating.

The front desk staff was fantastic. Liani in particular was exceptional. She assisted us on numerous occasions throughout our staff and even assisted with making sure we were able to get the best rate that was appropriate for our stay and our group. Her customer service skills were second to none. I believe she was from South America (possibly Chili). Wherever she's from, the quality of her training and upbringing really showed through. Selected "The Emerald Inn" via internet and it was everything and more than we expected. We spent a week there and it was just what we wanted and needed. The room was very clean and had more than what we expected - range, dishes, etc. It was within easy walking distance of a gorgeous beach, a fantastic restaurant - The Cafe and Bakery. We chose not to rent a car and where able to explore Auckland via bus and ferry as well as other sites. Transportation system makes it easy to get around. ...

We had a very good stay made better by customer service getting us a shower mat for my husband who has trouble walking. They upgraded us to a higher floor which had a fantastic view. Top notch!

Just one night - everything was great. Great view, great service, great room. Everything works in that hotel, fires on all cylinders. Only negative was a bit of noise from the street later into the night.

Fantastic boutique hotel! We came from Philadelphia, USA, and have already decided we will be traveling the 8,700 miles to stay at the Convent Hotel again. The chapel room had a garden wall that made the room always smell like flowers. The staff were extremely kind, inclusive, and accommodating. The Ada restaurant had the best breakfast I’ve ever had, and the best dinners that we had in our 5 days in Auckland. Very clean and convenient to many dining and shopping options

Great experience at the end of a trip around North Island. Harbour view room was great, and the pool and sauna were nice and clean. Great central location, friendly and professional staff, and had a good breakfast at the Terrace - good range of options.

Retro style decor which is refreshingly unique. Very close to the harbor, Maritime Museum, Queen's Wharf, and shopping. Only negative is lack of convenient spaces for suitcases.

It was not made clear what in the Kitchenette was included and what was a charge. Did not make coffee or tea because of this. The sky bus to the airport stopped right outside the front door. This was very convenient. The view was great. Sky tower was changed to green for St Patrick’s Day weekend. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Delicious breakfast buffet with coffee with fun foam designs every morning. Best muesli bars I have ever had. Great location, modern well-designed rooms, nice gym everything you could want in a room plus amazing views of the sky tower.

The newest hotel of the three in the chain at Sky City. Absolutely beautiful hotel. We saved the best for last. Accommodations were outstanding. Front desk stored on luggage on the last day b/c we had a late flight. Even offered us to use the workout facility to shower before we left for the airport-a first for me. The Grill Restaurant at the hotel food and service gets a 5 star rating. Ir is now my place to stay in Auckland.

Excellent hotel in kind of an Art Deco style in a nice area of Auckland. Not a far walk from the wharf and ferry building. It has a bar on premise with a free drink on arrival. The included continental breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit, toasted muesli, Greek yogurt, bread basket and fresh OJ and coffee. Delightful.
