To start communication was prompt and comprehensive. This out of the way hotel with its own private garden is far from the sounds of the city center and just a 2 minute walk from shops and dining. The room was clean and well laid out and the service was first rate. I was concerned about not having cell coverage to connect to their system, however it was not an issue. The staff are welcoming and extremely helpful
5TP was A++. Loris, our point of contact at the hotel was amazing. The service she provided was well above what you'd expect at the price point. From welcoming us, to her suggestions, to the check out process... flawless. She was clearly passionate about giving us the best experience. Info with directions for arrival were clear and simple. Some poor reviews mention the amount of walking and number of stairs to reach the location. Visiting Cinque Terre, one would hope there is already an...
Lots to do within walking distance. From restaurants to the marina with all the beautiful boats. We enjoyed great food and wine during our stay and took the ferry to Montarro and Monterosso for the day. Took the train back. Cinque Terre is easily reachable for day trips from this location.
The entire purpose of our stay in La Spezia was to visit the Cinque Terre. Like other reviews stated, it was perfect. We got off the train from Verona and headed down hill on the sidewalk about 100 yards and there was the hotel. Reception was very good, our room was very nice. The breakfast was very good. To visit Cinque Terre we just made the walk back to the train station and spoke with the Cinque Terre information personnel. They spoke English and recommended our tickets. We rode the train to...
Beautiful hotel with a million dollar view. We splurged for three nights at the Grand Hotel Portovenere and are happy we did. Best location in this beautiful town though one scould argue that it is hard to go wrong anywhere in Portovenere. We were unable to find a decent hotel in cinqueterre and landed in Portovenere and are so happy we did.The town itself is the quintessential riviera town- a cafe lined street along the waterfront with a castle to boot. We arrived in late June and the...
The rooms were very clean and modern. The room with the balcony was delightful opening up into the neighbor.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was delightful with fresh meats, cheeses and hot options. The manager of the hotel chatted each visitor every morning. She was a wealth of information. These villages were affected by extreme damage from heavy rains in 2011 causing mudslides to devastate the villages. To see the restoration makes you realize how resilient people...
The staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast spread fresh and tasty. The rooms were clean and having a balcony was a delight. We were grateful for the skilled shuttle bus drivers taking us up and down the winding hill down to the village.
This was a very nice place near the La Spezia Centrale train station. We walked there and had many shopping and dining options around us. The staff were very nice and communicated with us for check in. I highly recommend this place.
What a beautiful hotel! The room was clean - the staff very helpful and the breakfast abundant. We really enjoyed our stay. It was a wonderful plus to have the van drive and then pick us up from dinner. I would certainly recommend this hotel
It was a lovely time, the room was small but fine for my boyfriend and I. It wasn't a too far walk from town and I liked how there was a garden and seating area outside. Levanto is beautiful!
This hotel was excellent! It’s very clean and right across the street from a beautiful and huge beach! Our room had a terrace/balcony overlooking the main beach. And the view was amazing! Unfortunately, when we arrived we found out that the beaches in the area were all closed due to finding a bacteria in the water that made children very sick but not adults. They closed down all the beaches with an abundance of caution. If they had been open this are would of been amazing to sit and have a...
Very cute Hotel with a beautiful rooftop bar/terrace. The staff was extremely helpful and spoke english very well. Air Conditioning worked perfectly and there were lots of windows with different views! Beach is about a 5 minute walk away. Parking was a bit difficult but we figured it out with minimal problems. Good breakfast also!
