This is a gem of a hotel. The setting is pastoral and beautiful. The grounds are immaculate and peaceful. The room was exceedingly comfortable (although, of course, somewhat small by American standards but large by European), charming, with an excellent en suite bathroom. The hotel restaurant was superb and, although expensive, well worth it -- both the food and the attentive service. I would stay here again, and would highly recommend it to any friend.
We had a lovely one night stay at this bed and breakfast. We stayed in the family cottage/suite which is a separate structure, just across the small but lovely gardens in front of the house. I stayed with my wife and 3 kids (11 and and under). We had plenty of space. They stayed in a big bedroom with 3 beds, and they were nice enough (ahead of time, on my request) to provide a portable crib for my son and fans in both rooms as I am a bit of a princess when it comes to sleeping conditions. The chateau is a beautiful, charming and quiet place to stay. Keep in mind you are living back in time so it’s a little different but it’s a wonderful experience to stay there. The included breakfast is delicious including croissants, bread, homemade apricot jam, fresh fruit, local yogurt. This is a very good location for visiting Giverny – Claude Monet. Host is gracious and friendly and communicative. Highly recommend!
The hotel looks like it’s out of a movie, so stunningly beautiful and peaceful! I loved relaxing in the garden before walking up to dinner at the restaurant with incredible food and such a lovely view of the grounds. The owners went above and beyond to help me when I realized I had the wrong electrical adapter, and the staff served me with no problems even though I only arrived to breakfast with five minutes to spare in the time frame. The perfect B&B! The house is beautifully located and impeccably restored and decorated. Bruno and Laurent are kind and welcoming hosts. Breakfast was excellent. And, the price is more than reasonable for the quality. All in all, I would recommend this beautiful little guest house to everyone!!
A little trouble finding the place, as our GPS was poor with directions and it was a little bit difficult to find. But it was beautiful when we arrived.
