Hotels in Lucciana

Located in a gorgeous hill top picture-perfect sits this jewel of a hotel and spa! You are a 3 minute walk from one of the great restaurants in Europe the two star Arnolfo! Great base to enjoy Tuscany from.

Wonderful place to stay if you have a car.

This hotel is well situated for all the major attractions and venues in the area south of Florence. We enjoyed the property and breakfast was excellent!

We loved our stay! The winery is beautiful, and you can see the vineyards and cypress trees from your room. Beautiful views! The stay includes the best breakfast buffet in all of Italy with fresh food and coffee. The dinner restaurant is great for a cozy meal. The shuttle into town is very convenient if you don't want to walk uphill. The walk back to tenuto sovestro from town is gorgeous and enjoyable (all downhill.) We enjoyed the brief wine tasting and stories of what makes this winery...

Beautiful property with large rooms, parlors, great staff, great restaurant, etc. We arrived late and the kitchen was closed, but they made one call and re-opened it for us and served an amazing meal with late night enthusiasm on a beautiful deck. The rooms were large, nice baths and very comfortable beds. We wanted to stay another night to relax by the pool and enjoy the wonderful grounds, but they were booked so we had to move on as this was a last minute booking. Great breakfast in the...

Martina was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel facilities and breakfast were amazing. The property is located just a few minutes from the town of San Gimignano, making it a perfect base for exploring the area.

Everything was great. Only one wish that more food choices on the menu for both restaurants.

Hermoso lugar, me fascinó.

Old hotel in an old mountain top town. Given the limitations of this environment the Cisterna is a great little hotel that met all of our needs .The Cisterna is located in Cisterna Square in town close to sights, dining and a valley view walkway. The views to the valley from the rooms is amazing. The rooms are a good size and are modernized and comfortable. The staff is great (friendly and helpful). Many choices for dining close by (in the square) but others will require some minor hills and...

The Owners were absolutely delightful & informative of areas to go for restaurant & sightseeing! The included breakfast was fabulous! Definitely would recommend!

Excellent access to Tuscany. Close to San Gimignano, Sienna, and other must see locations.

Nicest hotel that we stayed at in Italy. Exceptional service and they strive to be upscale and deliver. Impeccable views, grounds, rooms, and restaurant. Almost felt too nice to be true-- blend of older style with new updates. A bit Disney-fied in feel that it seems to cater to mostly Americans and few locals. However, this means no hassles, broken fixtures, etc. (but it is a very different feel like a California spa vs. an old Italy village hotel). Only minor note is that it is a bit removed...

The hotel is beautiful and the family who runs the hotel are very nice people. It's quiet and comfortable the employees are very helpful. I enjoyed my stay.

We loved this place! Getting here was a bit tricky, as the map we were given in the welcome email was of bad quality, so it didn't take us to the correct place right away, but we figured it out, very minor. I'm sure you can ask for a better quality map. When we arrived to check in, we were greeted by Lisa, who was oh so very helpful! She showed us where laundry was, asked all questions we had about WIFI and other hotel things, recommended us 3 terrific places to eat dinner on each of our 3...

Conveniently located close to the centre and the parking (if driving). Our room had also a kitchen. Very clean and comfortable. Only cons is that there is no elevator (our room was at second floor). It was not a problem for us but very important for people with walking difficulties. Highly recommended.

There is no "lift"; you have to climb stairs; otherwise, host was very accommodating.

Great place to stay and visit all the surrounding hill towns! Breakfast was excellent. Daniela took amazing care of us! Will definitely return!

The title says it all- this was a lovely hotel, and we enjoyed everything about our stay. The location was perfect, the room was very comfortable, breakfast was lovely, etc. the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, as well. We will certainly return on or next trip to Volterra!
