"Lovely place to stay. Very convenient location."

"Perfect location and lovely staff"

"朝早かったので、2人しかいなかったためプールでがっつり泳げました。"

"This was the best hotel stay in my whole life! To start the property I believe is a refurbished historic ryokan so it definitely has the charm of a traditional stay while being luxury appointed ! I cannot speak better about staff here they were so helpful they went out of there way to make sure we had everything , greet us, open doors, offer us umbrellas on rainy days! We did also pay for breakfast and that was truly such a cool experience, taxi was waiting for us in the morning to bring us to...

"Amazing team. So friendly so kind. A beautiful stay in a great location in Kyoto. Can’t wait to come back and stay again soon. "

"Lovely stay at this hotel - great location, friendly staff, wonderful amenities."

"We stayed three nights as a family of four. The hotel is in a great spot in Kiyamachi, a short walk from Pontocho, Nishiki Market, Teramachi and plenty of good restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful, and their dinner recommendation on our first night was excellent. We would happily stay again."

"Amazing luxury hotel in the best possible location south of Pontocho and across the bridge from Gion. A huge room with a terrace and a sparkling large bathroom with a shower, wooden tub, and river views. Fridge stocked with beer and soft drinks and a washer-dryer for longer stays. None of this comes cheap but go and enjoy."

"Best location! Amazing hotel!!!"

"The property itself felt a little less hip and young than places we typically stay, but it was such a comfortable stay. The bed & soaking tub was a dream, the location and staff top notch. We really enjoyed our stay. "

"The service was amazing and I loved the traditional Japanese style hotel. Great experience all around"

"If you are staying in the Gion area of Kyoto this hotel is a perfect choice. It was one of the highlights of our 2 weeks in Japan. Yasakahan is perfectly situated in the heart of Gion. Everything is walkable. The facilities are excellent - the foot bath and shower/spa is great. Absolutely loved the decor. You really felt like this was your little piece of Kyoto for a few days. "

"Beautiful home, clean and comfortable and in a perfect location. Easy to walk to the nightlife and temples."

"Hotel Gion Ichirin was better than I anticipated. The staff were very friendly, there’s a free open bar in your room and in the lounge, plus coffee and croissants are available each morning. There are two private baths available to reserve for 5000 YEN that include a hot tub and sauna or steam shower."

"Every single service was impeccable. Location perfect. Room spacious"

"Great hotel, friendly staff, wonderful facilities and clean."

"Incredible staff, clean facilities, great location "

"Great room, excellent location to restaurants, bars and the train station"

"Fabulous location, outstanding Japanese food and super-friendly helpful staff. Only drawback is that the building doesn’t have windows that can be opened from inside one’s room."

"Friendly helpful staff and beautiful stay in Gion - so great!! Arigoto Gozaimas "
