"Clean room, excellent different Japanese breakfast over three days, lived the cook your own element !Lovely polite Gentlemen on reception and on checking into hotel. Rooms were delightful and loved the authentic feel of the small hotel. Wonderful central Gion location. When arriving in Kyoto station we went down to the bus station and got the 206 bus ( each time is a flat 230 Japanese Yen or they accept Suica card too , just tap once when you get off the bus stop which Gion is about approx 8-10...

"Such a great place to stay if you have a pet. My dog was greeted with so much joy and kindness. We felt so welcomed especially since Japan is so NOT dog friendly in general. Plus it’s only a few blocks from a beautiful park with a Starbucks. And there’s a bus stop right in front of the hotel so it’s really easy to get around.
