"This is an excellent choice for seeing Saumur. It is in an old building with a lot of character. My room was large, with wooden beamed ceiling, tall windows that opened, and a limestone fireplace I wish I had in my home. Ensuite had shower and had plenty of space. Bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly and quite helpful. The hotel is part of a very large restaurant with good food and good service. "Motel 3.5 km out of town. Big hill if bike riding. My room was on the carpark. All fine. Very clean. Won’t win any design awards but was a traditional nicely run motel. Nice staff. "

"Great stay - the proprietor was extremely helpful . These people know how to run a hotel. Meticulous eye for detail and everything was very easy. Storage and charging for our bikes in their garage and ice cold water to get us thru the hot weather. Room was in very good condition and all amenities were working and functioning."
