We spent a night in Finikas Beach at the Olympia hotel on our way to a wedding weekend in Galissas. It is hard to say enough good things about the Olympia hotel. It is an awesome hotel in an awesome place. The staff is extremely friendly. Also, the views of Finikas Beach are breathtaking.
Quiet stay in the hillside of Greece! The beach was close by! And I loved the cows and goats!!! Loved the huge chess set as well and hot tub and dry sauna!! All the pretty flowers everywhere were amazing! Easy check in and breakfast service each morning was simple as well as the perfect amount! 20 minutes from the city. And they offered us tact service for the way back to the port! Absolutely a beautiful property! 5 star!
I can’t begin to describe how perfect our stay was. Truly the most beautiful hotel I have ever seen. The hospitality is unmatched, from being picked up by the owner, Nicholas, at the port to our toiletries being perfectly organized on a tray when we came back to our room after a long day out. It was such a tastefully luxurious experience. I’m beyond impressed with the job Nicholas has done and cannot wait to visit again in the future.
The Maistrali is located across from the beach, near several restaurants and a convenience store. The rooms are large, with a nice outside balcony, overlooking the sea. The staff insisted on serving us a breakfast before they opene for service as we had to leave early. It was a quiet place, not too far from the main town on the island.
I had not been to this hotel before, had dome apprehension, and much to my surprise it was sheer delight on all levels!! The kids absolutely loved the pool & water slide, children's movies, supervised play area and endless complimentary ice cream scoops!! Beautiful beach located alongside the hotel, plentiful breakfast variety included, and the option to include lunch and/or dinner as well. I can't say enough about this hotel, especially considering the modest price. The hotel grounds are very attractive and well-maintained; english-speaking staff was cordial and professional. They have a very nice pool, which is enticing even though you're mere steps away from the beach. Very nice veranda, as well. Breakfast was above average and the food was kept stocked and fresh. It's only about a 10-15 minute taxi ride from the port; and the bus is also convenient, if you don't mind waiting...
