The hotel is new. The rooms are good. The shower was excellent. The breakfast was good. The hotel is within walking distance to visit the chateau.

The location is fantastic - with views of the Fontainebleau Chateau and within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. Our room was elegantly appointed, very clean, and thoughtfully presented. The beds were very comfortable and the room contained eerything we needed. We easy found uber rides to get to Vaux le Vicompte and Barbizon. Thank you for a one of a kind stay! The room, gardens and gallery are beautiful. Such a unique place from which to explore the Barbizon painters, and the woods which inspired them.

Only negative is the 3 sometimes narrow flights of stairs with suitcases. ( not unusual for small town France but still a pain) Had also selected this hotel as the restaurant was highly rated but it was closed that night. Finally found one good restaurant after walking around ( many questionable places we did not want to try!)

This is a great family owned and run castle in the heart of the castle district. Train to Paris is walking distance as are fine restaurants.

Superb hotel just right for our needs, close to town centre and the chateau, good parking nice sized garden with very clean and comfortable rooms, because we brought a dog we were given a ground floor room which opened out to the garden. Very friendly and helpful staff, will certainly stay again!

It was a pleasant quiet property in the countryside. The owners were very welcoming and the breakfast was nice.

This is our 2nd stay. The hotel is in a great location and the staff is ultra-accomodating.
