I have booked for 2 bedroom beach front pool villa to celebrate my birthday and it turns up to be a surprise proposal by my fiance. Staff is very friendly, the check in process were pretty fast but check-out process need to be improve. Great views. If you don't have your own transportation, you're a bit isolated here. But that's part of the draw. It's about an hour's drive from the city, and it's generally quiet and has fantastic scenery. On weekends, it gets a little busy with day visitors who come for the sunset and enjoy a meal in the restaurant.

It is a clean tidy place with very attentive staff. The food was good and the rooms were comfortable. We used it as a base for our two week stay in Sabah and really enjoyed our stay there. The drive up and down the hill is interesting. It is a windy road and you have to watch out for the local water buffalo's (which are nowhere near as aggressive as the ones in Australia). No parking available so we parked at the mall adjacent to the hotel. Our flights are at 9am so we checked out at 5.30am but door to mall car park is locked by mall staff. Walked up car ramps to car park from outside but could not leave as payment must be made inside the mall which open at 10am. There are also no security personnel at mall to help us. Need to improve on the cleanliness of the kitchen. Inspect the kitchen utensils, the water filter is leaking, the dish soup is non-existent, the drying rack left in the kitchen cupboard to house insects, the living room sofa leather was teared apart. The amenities advertised includes water bottles, but when asked for it from the staff on site, it’s not provided as complimentary. We were on the last two days of our 6 day trip throughout Malaysia, starting in Kuala Lumpur and Sandakan. We wanted to wrap up the holiday with two relaxing days at a resort, doing much of nothing. We arrived at the Jesselton Ferry facility via taxi from the airport. Very satisfied stay

The room was spotlessly clean and well maintained. There was even a nice little common hallway with extra toiletries and coffee/tea packets. The host provided a waterproof beach pouch which was exactly what I needed that day. The location is unbeatable. It's literally upstairs from the most amazing grilled seafood night market. 10/10. I will definitely book here again

The place was amazing. We had a really good time there. It's Maldives on a budget. Can't beat the rooms right above the ocean with tons of fishes and corals in your backyard. They could use a few more shuttles between their sister resort and town. The staff is very friendly. Overall a great experience. One complaint we had was that the Chinese restaurant served us raw chicken. My young kids ate them. Luckily they are ok, otherwise would have been quite serious.

If there is one thing to highlight about Bunga Raya, that's the staff: they were all really well trained, helpful and friendly - from this perspective, one of the best experiences we ever had. Good place to stay

Amazing. Very good costumer service. Everybody was very kind and friendly. The problem was fixing the AC. They got it done on the 3rd attempt. After that everything went smoothly. We enjoyed our stay. We’re in Bali now. Then back to the states.

The check in is really fast and efficient. Well the reception staffs are courteous and very helpful. The breakfast is great. It will nice if there is a pool at the rooftop ha.. Overall I love this hotel.
