The hotel was beautiful. We had a tatami room that faced the landscaped garden. It was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Hotel bath was also nice. Regretted not purchasing the hotel breakfast. You need to order breakfast/dinner in advance because this is s traditional, if large, Japanese inn.
Great location on a hill on the coast near hagi, with a fishing port nearby. Wonderful views from rooms and from outside pool. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great food.

Staff were very kind. The Kaiseki dinner was superb.
Although we did not use the public bath, the private bath reserved was great and our bodies felt less sore after a long dip.
Beautiful views, several private and/or 2 public onsen options, delicious and filling traditional Japanese meals (breakfast and dinner), lots of free amenities, free valet parking and wonderful hospitality.
The owner was very helpful. They came in clutch when we had to bring our dog and there were no rooms available with pets. Definitely coming back since Unit B had a gorgeous view.
