My husband and I were celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary and spent 2 weeks enjoying the beautiful Greek Isles. Crete was our last island to visit, Wow! did the Blue Palace meet/exceed our expectations! We had a bungalow suite with fabulous sea view. Every night the hotel had something in our room for us....from fresh flowers to a bowl of fresh fruit and one night an small cake with Happy Anniversary written on it. The service was outstanding. You can take the lift down to the pool...

Very nice little property in the heart of Elounda. From our arrival until departure, everyone was welcoming and efficient, especially Maria and Anna. Breakfast is simple but high quality local products. The lady who serve breakfast is flexible and does amazing eggs! We were upgraded to a suite facing the pool for our anniversary. A bottle of wine and fruits were waiting for us in the room and a welcome drink at the reception! The suite was simple and functional with a little kitchenette. I would...

Cayo Exclusive Resort & Spa

Agios Nikolaos

Beautiful luxury resort in exclusive Elounda Bay area. My family and I enjoyed the 5-star service and quiet serene location. Our private family villa was pristine, with private pool and amazing views. The resort pools were beautiful as well. Breakfast and on-site dining options were very good. The only room for improvement would be the hotel beach and club. The stone beach and service were truly excellent, but getting sunbeds was a bit of a challenge since the beach club is also open to the...

Booked a half board midweek couple retreat, we were very pleased. Walking around the complex is not easy due to a steep climb but you can call for a ride. The spa and main pools are great and have lockers and excellent showers. The beach has amazing trees for shade instead of umbrellas. Paddle boat was fun. Our room pool was very big and fun. The dinner buffet was superb, breakfast buffet was very good, and other dining options were also pleasing (you get some credit in them if you order half...

Elounda Mare Relais & Chateaux Hotel

Agios Nikolaos

10/10 Exceptional

Elounda Mare is an absolute gem. Hidden in the Elounda hillside as if the hotel grew out of the landscape and with a sweeping view of a cerulean blue bay, this is a hotel to be reckoned with. The Chateau & Relais association is earned here as the level of service is truly 5 star. The concierge Margherita was extremely helpful with 'off campus' suggestions and the Hotel's Sommelier was charming and informative. This is a romantic, relaxing getaway. As noted in other reviews, the best food is...

We had a great experience at the Elounda Hotel & Villas! We would highly recommend the seaview villas, which are right on the water, with a large deck overlooking the beautiful Meditaranean! They are a bit more pricey, but definitely worth it. The staff was terrific. They were all very friendly, spoke great English, remembered our names, and our drink preferences, and were very accommodating with any and all requests. We would also highly recommend Ivan (in the scuba shop) and all the...
