This hotel is perfect for those days when you have an early flight in the morning. It's on the airport property and 6-8 minute walk to the check in counters. Lobby has a bar and restaurant so very convenient. Staff is energetic, friendly and helpful. Standard rooms are small but sufficient for overnight stay and price is right. I upgraded to the family room and was much better. Can't go wrong for early travelers. I'll book here again.

We were suggested to stay in this hotel with our toddler and so happy we did! It is kids oriented and offers separate room for toddlers with plenty of toys and riding cars and a separate room for older kids with all the games you can think of!

Safe, quiet location about a mile from everything in the historic / tourist districts you want to see. You can take a longer (30 minutes to 1 hour) walk OR underground OR tram rides that are 5 minute walk away 15 minute rides. The bus tram underground ticket cost me $8 for a 24 hour unlimited pass. This hotel gets it right! The staff is super friendly and made me feel like a VIP! Everything is thoughtfully laid out and perfect for a long-term stay. It is right across the street from the subway and only 15 minutes away from city center. There is a shopping mall right across the street with a grocery store in the same building. Highly recommended!
Across from train station Wien HBF and close to metro stops. Food court near Canettistraße had variety of food options. Our room was perfect except there was an issue with the card holder for the electricity. Evelina took care of us and gave us a new room. If you like walking, it’s perfect to walk to many sites. Don’t miss the Albertina Museum. Also, stand in cue for a great Kebap at Gerhat Doner. Will return in the future.
We enjoyed our stay at The Companion hotel! The rooms are small, but designed well so that you still feel like you have plenty of space for storage and separation of bathroom ammenities. The gentlemen at the front desk were super friendly and helpful in giving recommendations. There is a great restaurant and bar located at the property and it is also conveniently located to the train station, making it easily accessible to everywhere in Vienna. We truly enjoyed our stay. The room was beautiful, tastefully decorated and comfortable. The hotel was recently renovated in April 2026 and everything was spotless.
The location was exceptional. It’s in the heart of the Neubau neighborhood close to lots of restaurants, coffee shops and stores yet the street the hotel is on is a pedestrian cobble stone one with beautiful planters full of herbs and lavander plants.
