This is a beautiful hotel. Right on the beach. Room was clean and nice. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed the breakfast each morning. We will be back.
Naj Casa is close to the action of the El Centro but far enough to enjoy peaceful rest from the beach music scene. About a 4 to 5min walk gets you to the center and another 2 to 3min beyond the center is the beach.
Outside of the hotel can be a little tricky navigating puddles and I can understand the rainy seasons could get frustrating. This is not Naj Casa's fault. You're visiting a sandbar NOT an island. Showing up with the expectation of paved roads will only hurt you.

Lovely boutique hotel to escape from it all. We enjoyed our first trip to Holbox. I do wish the hotel offered a happy hour or had a small hotel bar for guests. Alberto is a wonderful host and ensures your stay is perfect.
Our trip in Holbox was on Nov 2024. We booked one of the treehouse cottage.
Pros:
First— staff are amazing, super helpful, and very welcoming.
2nd—the resort is top notch. Quiet. It gives that “jungle” type vibe. If you are all about connecting with nature, this is the perfect place to be.
3rd—the way the resort was located, it’s still walkable to their downtown area.
Con:
November- so many mosquitoes. I didn’t get to enjoy the lounge over the roof because I became the buffet. BRING bug...
The best location! Very nice amenities and beautiful beach. As for the noise complaints you read elsewhere, just download the "whitenoise" app on your phone and you wont hear a thing.
If I could give this hotel 10, I would. When I was doing my research on where to stay in Holbox, I didn’t want be near the action or noise of el centro. I really did want that ‘eco-hotel’ vibe. Casa Noma was absolutely exceptional!!! I didn’t know at the time but my husband called in advance to tell them it was my birthday and they had a nice bottle of bubbles with some snacks and a happy birthday sign arranged in the room. Very sweet and a lovely surprise!

There are so many things that make this hotel fantastic, it's hard to know where to start. The most important item to me was cleanliness and this hotel aces that factor. The facility is small, quiet and quaint. The breakfast is divine and the views from the rooftop eating area are beautiful and relaxing. Great hotel on the west side of the island. Quiet, clean, and comfortable. 10 minutes walk to Punta Coco. Far from town (25 minute walk or 200 peso taxi) but that was what we wanted. Excellent shower in the room, incredible view of the entire area from the top of the hotel. Luis the manager was wonderful as well. Very kind and helpful. The pool was a little cloudy and scummy. I believe something was broken but we still swam in it. We would definitely stay again.
