"I have stayed here many times in the past. We often stay closer to Alcala if we are traveling with people who want to shop and do sight seeing activities every day. But for a relaxing, stress free time in Oaxaca there is nothing like being a little separated from the bustling downtown, elevated above the city with panoramic views, a great bar, restaurant, room and pool service, and easy parking.

Our stay was perfect. The staff was extremely responsive, the rooms very comfortable and we were within walking distance of the Zocalo. We often walked back to Marialicia Suites at nighttime and never felt unsafe despite it being away from the action. In fact, we preferred this as there was never any street traffic that we could hear from our room. We stayed at parador San Miguel for 3 days,hotel has 3 levels with terraces for relaxing,our suite was fabulous with air conditioning,Jacuzzi,the most comfortable king bed and antiques everywhere,plants,trees and flowers are everywhere,making the hotel look like a tropical paradise,staff was extra friendly,food in restaurant was beyond delicious and we we sad to leave.Manuel and America,the proprietors,speak perfect english,Manuel having been educated in San Francisco.FABULOSO!!!
This is where my husband and I stayed for our honeymoon. Super cute and cozy. The patio was beautifully decorated with plants of all sorts. The staff was helpful and are happy to help you. It's a 10ish minute walk to el centro but SO WORTH IT. With stores, liquor stores, and mini marts not too far.
The staff, especially Nayelli, made the stay special. The rooms are really nice and spacious. We had a problem with the air conditioning system and Nayelli was extremely accommodating to get the problem fixed.

Excellent location close to many restaurants and shopping but quiet and private. The onsite restaurant was beautiful and very good. Staff were helpful and kind. Most things we wanted to see or do were within 1 mile or less walk. Highly recommend!
The perfect blend of Hotel and AirbNb. We reserved the “Villa” which is a two story house with two ample bedrooms, a living room, media room, two full baths and kitchen. It’s 4 blocks north of Santo Domingo temple and museums, so easily walkable and comfortable. If you want the included breakfast they will deliver it… also all the cleaning and changing of towels etc at your convenience. Great staff and wonderful place. We’ll be back!
I enjoyed my stay at La Hacienda! The rooms were clean and comfortable. I enjoyed the restaurant that’s a part of the hotel. I liked having on site parking! It was perfect for my needs. I plan to stay there the next time I am in Oaxaca

The room was quaint and cleanly. I enjoyed the traditional lock and key versus a key card. Breakfast in the morning was so tasty with great wait staff. Front desk was super helpful in getting me a taxi for my flight back home!
