Breakfast had good choices although the cook breakfast was just warm. On check out commented to the reception staff there was a humming noise like a water pump or generator going most of the early hour's .. Just said someone else has mention that. A pleasant stay but won't return"

"A once grand hotel now showing it's age, the exterior could do with renovating as it looks untidy on first impression. Walk in and the interior is so much better, the staff are excellent and our room was very good. This is good hotel to stay at, the only drawback being the walk up and down the hill to and from Scarborough itself, but we were very satisfied with our stay"
