The Chester Grosvenor
8/10 Good
"It’s a Shane it wasn’t made clear the spa was closed - this will be amazing when it reopens after refurbishing and was still a nice stay"
The Mill Hotel & Spa
8/10 Good
"Nice comfortable stay. Good mattress and nice linen. Complementary buffet breakfast with plenty of choice. Very good location, only a short walk to town. All in all a good stay and would stay again."
Hotel Indigo Chester by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"Friendly helpful staff, lovely welcome on arrival, Standard room, very clean with everything we needed, bathroom clean and modern, huge shower, will definitely recommend and hopefully return one day. Also had a lovely steak meal in the Forge Restaurant, first review written for a long time without any negatives!"
Grosvenor Pulford Hotel & Spa
10/10 Excellent
"Gorgeous hotel room and very attentive staff. Food in the Palm Court restaurant was excellent and we would definitely stay again."
Holiday Inn Chester - South by IHG
8/10 Good
"Breakfast very good. Food was good quality, well presented with staff monitoring to maintain cleanliness"
Crabwall Manor Hotel & Spa
8/10 Good
"Beautiful place to stay and relax for a night or two. The pool, steam room and sauna were lovely and buffet breakfast top-notch!!! (although coffee machine a bit naff- barely lukewarm drinks every time). My room had no outlook, just skylights so it felt a bit stuffy but for the budget price I paid that's fair. No shower door so the floor got very wet! Someone removed my towel from the poolside so I had only a face towel when I went back to my room. This was pilling and leaving masses of white fluff everywhere so I had to shower again and then air dry, not ideal! Super comfy bed and a great night's stay overall. Would 100% come back! (a biscuit in the room would be nice though ;)"
The Queen at Chester Hotel - Handwritten Collection
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely luxurious hotel with lots of beautiful areas to sit in. Gorgeous outside area of the suns out. Straight opposite the railway station. We had breakfast at the pub on the opposite corner which worked out cheaper. Only downside is the parking but there was plenty of spaces at the front of the hotel where you can park free for 20 minutes and pop in the hotel with cases. There is a sign at reception to scan the QR code and put in the location and pay for the parking online. The car park is through the archway and cost is £17 for 24 hours on a Sunday. The walk into town is about 15 minutes but if you come out of the hotel and go left and then left again you will come to the canal which is nice to walk alongside into town. Chester is beautiful and well worth the visit."
The Wild Pheasant Hotel & Spa
10/10 Excellent
"Great hotel in a good location for the National Trust visits we planned around the region."
The Pied Bull
8/10 Good
"Lovely establishment. Old, charming, lovely aesthetic. When turning the tap on, flushing the toilet, shower or the likes: a tremendous bellow from the waterworks that reverberated and often stirred randomly in the middle of the night to wake us. What you expect from an old building? Perhaps."
