Selden Farm B&B was a totally delightful place to stay. Nice, clean rooms, amazing breakfast, friendly, helpful statt and easy to walk out from a wonderful farm into exquisite surrounding countryside.
Easy to great great dinner at the World's End pub, about a mile away. If you has breakfast at Seddon Farm, you will not need lunch. Also easy to get to Arundel, which is about 4 miles away. Will definitely return
Room was good value for price. Right beside the train station. Literally a block away. Easy walk to Castle and town. Room was extremely hot. I do realize we were traveling during a heat wave but our hotel in London was nowhere near as hot as this hotel. Probably something to do with the insulation. However we only stayed one night and was fine for our needs. Breakfast was delicious!
Beautiful location, great staff and accommodations, wonderful breakfast with lots of choices. Loved the green juice! Easy walk to nearby small village with a high end provisions store and a restaurant the Black Horse. If not driving good access to taxi services and limited uber.
Good place, clientele was well over 50. Very quiet. No AC so can be warm at times but the sea breeze helps as does the fan. Classic English seaside experience
The food was fantastic & plentiful. It was a friendly and generous attitude. I was treated as family. I was there as memorial to my brother & his wife who lived Brighton; sadly they are both gone ....I really needed that friendliness 😳🌹 thank you
We were stranded because of the airport shutdown and I booked the hotel without my normal thorough review… and I got very lucky.
Below is my list of pros and cons…
Cons first:
-Late checkout is £15 per hour up to two hours. Like I get it but also… yuck.
-Entrance is a bit disguised
-Location is far away from Brighton Beach shopping and sights (but if you aren’t afraid of public transport, a 30 minute bus ride will get you there easily)
Andddd that’s it.
Pros:
-Front desk personnel: Louis,...
This small, historic Inn is off the beaten path set in a picturesque community of country manors. The room was well appointed and comfortable, and the food served in the restaurant is succulent, particularly the duck confit. It is clearly a favorite local spot to gather in the bar and enjoy a pint and the lively conversation.
This place was fabulous! My room was top notch. Clean, welcoming, and full of charm. And steps from the beach.
The staff were amazing. Highly recommend!
Spent one night on a trip through SE England. Typical pub/inn in Fishbourne, a suburb of Chichester. Close to Roman villa ruins with probably the best mosaic floors outside of Mediterranean. Comfortable room recently renovated with nice bathroom. Rooms are in a small annex behind the pub across a small outdoor eating area -- it might be noisy on a busy summer evening, but was dead quiet on a cold March night. Good pub food; bar and restaurant busy with locals. Would stay here again.
