We loved our stay at Fattoria Ca' di Fattino! The space was charming, quiet, and picturesque. When you stay here, you are entering into the slow, down-to-earth pace of rural Tuscany. The owner and her staff were hospitable and kind, and we felt welcomed into this home. The location was excellent for day trips to Bologna and Florence. The breakfast was a great way to start each morning, and the restaurant just up the hill from the home was excellent and authentic. Fattoria Ca' di Fattino is a...
Quiet and beautiful location.
No AC, can be warm in hot weather, did have two fans for help in sleeping.
Excellent place for a quiet getaway, lovely hosts.
Renovated ancient structures, with comfy rooms overlooking the gorgeous valley below. Sabrina, the owner, was attentive and pleasant and cooked our meals even though the kitchen had officially closed for the season. We used it as a stop between Milan and Florence, and the drive to Firenze through mountainous back roads was another highlight. Waking up to the view is forever etched in our minds
We stayed in this hotel during our travel from the Parma region to Tuscany. It was in a peaceful, remote location in the mountains. The town of Tole is quite small with not much to do, but it is great if you are getting weary from the big cities! The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel restaurant is really the only one in town we could find, but the food was great and locals were also dining with us. The breakfast was the best we had in Italy with many offerings, complete with eggs and...
Would definitely return to and recommend the Meridiana Country Hotel. Loris Frascarelli and his staff were wonderful and could not do enough for us during our stay. Upon our arrival, Loris gave us a choice of rooms; we obviously took the one with the better view. The Meridiana is quaint, accommodating, clean, in a beautiful location and close to a fantastic local restaurant they recommended just down the road (Gennaro); you could actually walk there.
Beautiful location to breath the fresh air and enjoy the beautiful location, delicious food, and welcoming staff. Was a “layover” for me on a business trip but hope to return someday with my wife.
My husband and I ended our 10 day tour of Italy here, with a 2 night stay. It was the perfect place for us to relax and unwind before our long trip back to the United States. Our room was perfect; the bed comfortable and shower beautifully upgraded. We enjoyed a couples massage and wine tasting during our stay. The restaurant is nothing short of amazing! Every dish is expertly prepared and beyond delicious. Every staff member was welcoming and accommodating. Our Sommelier, Lorenzo, was very kind...
