The Puteaus Palace is hands down the most incredible place my husband and I have ever stayed! We made a visit for our honeymoon this year and the architectural details, landscape design, staff, food, rooms and amenities are impeccable! We never wanted to leave and considered cancelling the rest of our trip to extend for several more weeks. Sadly, the COVID pandemic has forced them to close early this year but as soon as they reopen next year I would run to this absolutely incredible hotel....

Because of its location on Marjan Hill, it can be a little difficult to find without GPS. We left our car parked and walked up and down to the Riva. If you aren't in reasonably good shape, you might find this to be a problem. But, once you get there, you will find a marvelous hotel. Location couldn't be better! Just a block from the market, old town, the beach and never ending views of the water. Perfect! Yerka was very friendly and helpful: she explained the area and fun things to do upon our arrival. The rooms are set up so well; not to mention the air conditioning was nice after some warm days touring the city. Extra bonus was Netflix with a variety of movies and shows! I will be staying here again on our next trip to Split!
