This inn was the nicest one we stayed in on our six day hike through the Cotswolds. It is cozy, clean, quaint and well decorated. The food was incredible and the staff was so kind. Definitely worth walking toward Selsley to stay here.

We enjoyed our stay at Egypt Mill Hotel as the surroundings are beautiful and the location is convenient to driving to various villages in the Cotwolds. We also ate dinner in the hotel restaurant and it was quite good each time. We did not see any other restaurants within walking distance but there is a village nearby. The Abbey is a darling place to stay. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, and the most charming staff. Lovely breakfast and absolutely perfect location, close to everything . . . walkable to high street, tons of restaurants, the theatre, and the bus depot. I will definitely stay here again.
