"Very clean, although could do with a touch up in places. Staff helpful and friendly. Didn't have breakfast but did have a pizza in the bar which was good. Basic room, not many channels with signal on TV, no tea/coffee making facilities in room, and only one pillow each. Had a twin room and beds quite small but comfortable. Air con in room and working well, which was great as we visited in a heat wave!! Easily walkable from town centre and railway station. Very quiet, could see coaches in car park and saw lots of people in reception but very little sound from room which meant no disturbance."

"Pour une nuit , tout juste à côté de l'aéroport Charleroi. C'était parfait. La navette est un peu chère (10 euros). L'extérieur est un peu vieillot, mais la chambre était très bien et ce qu'on veut quand on a une nuit avant un vol tôt le matin, c'est une bonne chambre. 👍"

"Nice location on the river, and although the pool isn't a swimming pool - more of a plunge pool - it was nice to cool off in. We would have stayed there longer but left due to the number of smokers; unfortunately in a courtyard area like that it's hard to get away from other people's smoke! Our room was a little tired - could do with a paint to freshen it up - and we struggled to find enough sockets to charge our electrical items. Staff were very helpful and kindly let us use the garage to park our motorbikes in overnight. It's a 15-20 min walk to the area where all the main bars/restaurants are, but there's a lot going on in the town so it's worth the walk. Barman made a great mojito!"

"Overall it was an excellent experience. Fantastic front desk staff. Top notch! First hotel in Belgium (it was our fourth a this trip) with a small refrigerator in the room. Free parking is always a huge plus in my book. A couple of notes, though. If you are going to change €24 for breakfast, the food on the buffet line needs to be hotter than lukewarm. (Although the freshly prepared omelet was hot.) And the shampoo/body wash dispenser in the shower was broken and/or empty. Dinner at Restaurant was much more reasonable than breakfast and delicious."

"This is a large hotel in the heart of the university. All roads are underground which is a bit confusing for a first time visitor, I looped around twice before finding the hotel car park. The hotel itself was reasonably pleasant, if a little dated. The room was spotless with a nice shower. However the hotel restaurant was too busy at lunchtime to eat there without a reservation. But what I found most annoying is that although I had picked a hotel with a swimming pool, this was not actually included in the room price!! This has never happened to me before and was not made clear when booking online."
