I NEVER write reviews but felt I had to write one for this new family-run hotel. What a delightful experience! My father has Parkinson's Disease, and this will probably be his last trip abroad. I had to find a hotel that could accommodate his disability (he has to use a walker). You won't find a better place to stay in Split. They were all so welcoming and gave us some welcome grappa as well as detailed information of restaurants and activities. It was close, walking distance if able, but...
If you’re going to visit Split, you should consider just one place to stay. This place has it all. Location, great service, nearby parking, stunning views, and a staff that is beyond. Jan was a perfect tour guide and host. Ana was always there with great directions and a smile. The breakfast was lovely and ample. If I could give it 6 stars I would. We had a wonderful stay. To say the staff was friendly and helpful would be an understatement. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had a great stay. Lovely beachfront spot mixed in among the other hotels. Easy ride into town (20-25 minutes by bus or 15 by car). You can't beat the price vs. value for Beachfront Mediterranean. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family.
This boutique hotel worked perfectly for our three nights in Spilt. It is so convenient and easy to get to from the ferry terminal/train station. It was a 3 minute walk to the market and then into the palace walls. As I watched people dragging their suitcases through the palace looking for their accommodations I was so thankful I was staying where I was. The room was VERY nice. Recently redone with a great big shower. Very clean and roomy. Great location convenient to everything. Easy walk to the port and main road. Highly recommend this property. Marina was great.
Our say at this hotel was fantastic - great would be an understatement. The rooms are beautiful, welcoming, and perfect. The staff, well, they truly make the hotel even more of a fantastic place to stay. Extremely helpful, warm, friendly, and knowledgable, the staff really made our stay a memorable one. Good hotels have good rooms; great hotels have great staff. This is the only place to stay in Split, and even more so, in Croatia.
3 night stay in this lovely boutique hotel. Great room that combined modern comforts in bedding, air conditioning (much needed in Croatian summer) and bathroom with ancient touches (exposed walls of old building). Staff also helpful and warm to a person--everyone we interacted with from the owner to the bellhop was friendly and engaging. Truly enjoyed our stay.
I will run out of superlatives to describe how well we were treated during our stay in this very lovely hotel. The hotel was right smack in the middle of the best plaza by the Palace. We were picked up by Mario from the airport and he also brought us to the airport when we left — and I cannot appreciate enough the fact the he walked so far just so that he can carry our bags for us, especially since I have elderly parents. We were very grateful to him.
