Wonderful introduction to Portugal! We had a room with a view, the hosts were very nice and I loved the homemade bread and the glass of port upon arrival. We would certainly go back.
This place is a true gem. Very quiet, yet close enough to the sights in Milfontes. Don’t be fooled by its low key appearance from the street. The true goodness is on the inside. Gardens are pleasant and a true joy to relax in. Room was spacious and well decorated; very cozy.
Monica and her staff are wonderful, the property is beautiful, quiet and peaceful. Breakfast is delicious and generous. For us, after 3.5 weeks of busy travel this was a perfect location to chill. We hung out during the day at the beaches, returned to shower and go back to town for dinner. It’s only 12 min to town/beach. Great place to stay, highly recommend!

This was a magical experience! Know you are staying on a farm so it is not about squeaky cleanliness. The room was basic with 3 beds in one room and a couch but it was all we needed to enjoy this unique property with peacock males dancing and showing their plumage and the mothers exhibiting their babies. We only used this hotel to stay overnight while traveling from The Algarve to Lisbon. But it was more than adequate for that. The rooms were a little dated but very clean and well maintained. The building is located within easy walking distance of the town, restaurants, and the beach. Porto Covo is a nice small town, and parking was easy.
