My family (2 adults, 1 child) really enjoyed the beauty, tranquility, and rich culture and history of this part of the Douro Valley. Maria was a wonderful host, and she was especially helpful in finding a particular, fairly new viewpoint in the Douro Valley and just in providing helpful information for things to do and things to eat. We really want to come back when we choose to visit Portugal again in the future.

The location is really out of the way but thanks to GPS we found it! The quinta is situated on outskirts of a small village which is quite charming. Staff was very welcoming and quite helpful. We enjoyed the onsite dinner options and the Quinta's wine. The room was very nice and outside seating along with pool area allowed us to enjoy the beautiful countryside. A suggestion would be to offer guests a complimentary glass of the quinta wine when registering.

We had a very nice stay here. The property is small, so it is quiet (I believe only a total of 4 rooms). The views from the property are immaculate. There are such pretty views of the duoro river. In the morning, a homemade breakfast of eggs, meats, and fresh fruits is available. I will say that it is not possible to walk from the property to any restaurants or wineries, but taxis seems to be readily available. Overall, we had a wonderful stay

This is a beautiful property. The pride and tradition expressed both by the family who owns and runs the property as well as by the manner in which the property is maintained was clear. I would highly recommend a stay at this winery if you looking for excellent wine and a true experience with a Portuguese wine maker. We dislike "touristy" experience when traveling so this did not disappoint. We hope to return some day!!
