"Clean hotel with self check in. If you book please be sure to check your Hotels.com inbox with entry instructions. Bathroom has headed floors and towel rack. Room is very simple but functional. Room had a fan that did its job, no A/C."

"Charming, secluded countryside property with a lakeside view. Note that “pet friendly” means pets can stay in rooms but not in lobby or restaurant. It rained when we visited so we were very grateful the breakfast team allowed us to dine in an alcove room far from other guests, with our dog. Lovely hot tubs and sauna must be booked for an hour and paid for separately. I would love to come back in better weather to really enjoy the lake and grounds."

"If you are familiar with how small guest houses work, this is a great place. There is no desk on duty everything is self check in. When you book you will receive instructions for opening the door and getting the key for your room. If you are an English speaker the instructions are in Swedish only. Not a drawback if you've done this kind of traveling before. I would give this five stars if there were ensuite bathrooms. They shared bathroom and shower may be off-putting to those who are used to hotel travel. If you are the kind of person who may use a hostel this is often the norm. Our stay was delightful."

"This is the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. You get treated like royalty. I felt like a guest, not a customer. This is my first time ever writing a hotel review because this place was so wonderful. The rooms are beautiful, the staff are friendly, and the food is awesome! There is a garden in the back where lots of the fruits and vegetables are grown fresh. I can’t recommend this place enough!!"
