The property appears to be brand new, modern, and comfortable. The staff is very nice and helpful. It is not walkable from the railway station or from the town of Thun but there is a convenient bus that ends in a station opposite the hotel. It takes about 10-12 minutes on that bus to arrive from the railway station.
The setting of this hotel is excellent and less than 30 min away from Bern. Its very peaceful at night and the people warm, hospitable and so kind. We took our 5 month baby there and genuinely enjoyed our stay. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone who visits Bern or simply wants to get away for arms peaceful time. Congratulations to all the people of the hotel. Great job! We walked outside in the beautiful open park and enjoyed watching the cows from the nearby meadow.
Amazing service and beautiful hotel! We loved the views from our 3 large windows with views from every angle. The included breakfast was delicious with many hot item choices as well as a buffet with various breads, fruits, cereals and yogurts. I enjoyed the cappuccino and my husband loved the hot chocolate. I felt like we stepped into a fairytale. Thanks for a delightful experience!
Lovely Stay on the lake front with private dock for swimming and lounge chairs and hammocks for relaxing. Great views from the balcony. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. There are a number of free parking spots right in front of the hotel first come first served. Tip: arrive early to get one. Bus #21 runs up and down the lake from Thun to Interlaken with a stop 100ft away. Bus fare is free to guests staying in hotels in the area. Beautiful time in Thun.

Setting of the hotel right at the Lake of Thun and its big property overlooking the most spectacular Swiss mountains made the stay very special. We booked the renovated Designer Room, which is huge and beautiful. Exceeded all our expectations!!! We certainly will return to this hotel for all the above reasons.

We loved our stay here. The room is nice and we really love the fully functioning kitchen. We also loved the location, just few steps from the train station. The price was very reasonable too. Just the only weird thing about it is the bathroom. It’s transparent, so when you take a shower or use the toilet, the other person could see you. Not a big deal for me cause im with my husband but for others it might not okay.
This Hotel is wonderful in every way! The staff was very accommodating and surprised us with an upgrade to a suite which had a huge balcony, kitchen, 2 baths and a living room. Did I mention 2 TVs! Had a wonderful stay in Spiez. The view from the hotel is absolutely gorgeous! I recommend getting a room with a view of the lake, you will not be disappointed. Our room was comfortable and spacious with nice updated bathrooms. My only complaint about the room was there were no shades of any kind to block out the light in the morning. We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Eden! It is a beautiful property, amazing views and the perfect couples retreat! We arrived a little early by train (we took the Golden Pass train from Montreux which was also a highlight) and so we enjoyed the spa and a private pool until our room was ready.
