"The room was basic but comfortable. Bed was comfy and clean. The place has great potential. It appeared that they were working on the outdoor kitchen area. There was a microwave, nespresso coffee, kettle, small fridge and an older air fryer which i used to nake toast. Fabiloa was an excellent host. If you just need a place to stay for a night or two, this was good value, even with the additional 10.00 cleaning charge and 3.00 PP per night electrical fee."

This was our third stay at Captain Don's, we loved it as much as the first time, in 1998. We were upgraded to the deluxe oceanfront suite, great view, large room. 2 pools at the resort. Buddy's will cater to your diving needs. Beautiful peaceful location, friendly staff, and excellent food. All facilities and boats are modern and comfortable. Only downside is moderate number of mosquitos, and no screens. So, either kill every mosquito in your room or wear repellant to bed.
If you want peace, quiet and relaxation this is the villas for you. Definitely rent a car, but if you don't the local taxi drivers are AMAZING- very friendly and attentive. The pool and view of sunsets are great. If you LOVE taking pictures this is a great atmosphere for some colorful pictures. My Husband and I enjoying our stay. We would definitely stay here again.
The Plaza Resort is great! The rooms are huge and clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the dive shop onsite is excellent! I dive, but my wife doesn't and this resort has everything we need. She can lay on the beach, swim in the pool, snorkel off the beach, or hang out at the Coconut Crush beach bar while I go dive...and I can join her when I'm above water! The place consists of a small number of side by side units separated from the shore walk and road by another similar vacation complex, There is a partial view of the water from the site. From the time I walked in I felt welcomed. The owners handed me a beer before the dirt on my shoes settled. This was by far one of the best places I've ever had the pleasure to stay at. I will be back.
