Balmacara Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are spacious and have all the basic amenities. Fresh and delicious breakfast"
Kintail Lodge Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"What an amazing place to stay if you want to enjoy both the Scottish Highlands and the Isle of Skye! The location is about a 30 minute drive from Skye and so much more affordable than accommodations on the actual isle. This is a lovely boutique hotel in an old hunting lodge right on Loch Duich. Our room was very comfortable and well stocked and the staff was all so friendly, especially Gavin. Breakfast came included with our room, both made to order meals and fruit, yogurt, granola, toast, coffee and juices. Our favorite thing about the Kintail Lodge was the restaurant. We had dinner both nights and loved everything we are, especially the Cullen skink (fish chowder), the fish and chips, and cranachan (a Scottish dessert with whipped cream, berries, and a dash of Scotch. There was a nice path past the loch that led to a sidewalk on the main road, so I took beautiful walks around the loch each morning. Can't say enough wonderful things about this hotel!"
An Spiris Accommodation at Dundreggan Rewilding Centre
8/10 Good
"Messaging from Hotels.com was inconsistent. In some cases I could not open the message. The 2 step process for getting 2 codes was cumbersome. The hot water was only tepid at best. It was nice to be so close to a cafe both for dinner and breakfast. Parking was fine."
Rokeby Manor
10/10 Excellent
"Every thing was great I recommend you to have experience of staying in this hotel"
Kirkton Bay House Bed and Breakfast
10/10 Excellent
"The staff contacted us before our arrival to make us aware that reservations are recommended for the only restaurant in Glenelg. The continental breakfast included numerous thoughtful and delicious options. The room included everything to make our stay comfortable. The view from the room is beautiful!! Wishing we could have stayed longer than 2 nights."
