Loved our stay at Chateau Montplaisir! Our hosts were incredible friendly and the chateau is gorgeous, feeling like you’re walking into a piece of history. They recommended a beautiful walk for us to go on our first day. Our stay included delicious breakfasts served on their patio overlooking the pool and views of Valreas including fresh fruit, fresh-squeezed OJ, homemade jams and yogurt, croissants and baguette. We enjoyed our stay at Chez Marie. It is a charming home with a lovely garden. Our host was very kind and provided us with a superb breakfast. Two things to keep in mind: 1) There may not be anyone there to greet you upon arrival so be sure to park in front of your room, dead center, not in front of the side rooms, and: 2) Your texts and phone calls will not be answered, English is not spoken at all. No problem, we still made ourselves understood and had a very nice time.

This hotel was wonderful. The hotel room was large with a great bed and huge bathroom. Much larger than other rooms we have stayed in while traveling in France. The view was superb as we looked on the nearby village of Segret (probably spelled it wrong). And the travel through the country to get there was also wonderful. We went through the small town of Sablet on our way to the hotel. Then we visited Vaison de la Romaine. We wanted to visit the Roman ruins. However, we did not know that...
